Blunt Force Drama

Where Content Creation Meets Niche Markets

I enjoyed seeing Sean's flick "Road Kill" again. (I found a link here on the site.)

Looks like it was a fun project to put together.

Any thoughts looking back on the experience?

Thanks I'm glad you liked it!

Yeah I think I would have or we should have some take more pictures of what we are doing. Also it would have been good to have some else video of us while we were shooting for DVD extras. It would have all helped with making extra content for the web and promotion.

I would for sure bring more water.

I had a storyboard for the shot so I didn't really have a script, which was not a problem since there was no talking. But the storyboard helped a lot. It allowed us to know what shots we had and where we needed to make up sometime.

Oh yeah finding locations is almost as key as finding people to act in the film.

That reminds me we need to establish a great source for working with actors! If anyone knows anyone point them to this site.

I just remember Sean talking forever about this film and he wanted me to do the audio and I just kind of went "yea yea" but then the whole monster lobster scene started coming together and I then realized how cool it could be.

Sean and I sat down for awhile while I was pulling up sounds and getting the main "sonic sketch " together. Then he went away and I finished most of it that night. I remember when I handed him the last pass a few days later I said "I want to take one more pass at it and clean up some things".

I never did and when I watch it now I have no idea what I was going to go back and clean up so it must have been done!

Oh yea, and that Mo Fo that gets eaten by the monster lobster still owes me $500. Or was it a crab?
